The Strengths Finder indicates the top five strengths out of 34 for individuals. Below are my top five and more detail about each.
February 2019 Update
Looking back at these, I agree with a lot of them still. I am still analytical. I still analyze risks before proceeding if possible. I think harmony has slipped a bit as I have aged; I enjoy good arguments based on nothing as basically a critical thinking exercise. Which leads to agreeing with the brain always thinking through stuff. Input I think I only agree with still because I have snippets of completely useless information that I will reference sometimes. As far as useful information that I use, there is less of that, so I probably disagree with how input is supposed to be interpreted.
Analytical Analytical people insist on sound, logical conclusions made with data. They are the ones who expose the weaknesses in arguments and theories which lack factual data.
Deliberative Deliberative people are surgical in their approach to life. They analyze all risks they can and think through their actions before proceeding. Choices in friends are paramount and the mantra is quality over quantity in that realm.
Harmony Harmonious individuals look for agreement and avoid conflict. If there is a way to steer a debate back toward concrete topics of agreement, the individual of harmony can do it.
Intellection Those of intellection are thinkers. While the topic of thinking does not need to exist, the brain is always active. Topics of focus are no doubt thought about exhaustively.
Input Input individuals are collectors. Not always of physical goods, but of information as well. Reading and traveling offer more information to the input conscious mind which is filed away for use one day.
